Amarilis Ramos Rodríguez

Amarilis Ramos, Esq. (J.D., LL.M) focuses her practice exclusively on the area of Immigration and Nationality Law. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia (Washington, DC) and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. She has tried many cases, mainly representing clients from Central and South America in removal proceedings and asylum cases at the Virginia and Maryland Immigration Courts. She is authorized to represent clients nationwide.


  • Master in Criminal Law from the School of Law of the University of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain)
  • Juris Doctor from the School of Law of the University of Puerto Rico (P.R.)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico (P.R.) (Magna Cum Laude)

  • She has offered seminars on different legal matters: administrative, labor, and health law.
  • Before starting her practice, attorney Ramos was an associate attorney in a private law firm in Alexandria, VA.

Luis Franqui, Esq. (J.D.) is in charge of the administration and case management of the firm. In addition, he has excelled in assisting clients in affirmative cases before USCIS across the nation.


  • Juris Doctor from the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University (Puerto Rico)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Puerto Rico. (P.R.)

Legal Background:

  • Attorney Franqui has been practicing law since 2008, focusing his practice on administrative and government law.
  • From 2011 to 2018, he was the Legal Advisor to the Puerto Rico Telecommunications Regulatory Board President.
  • In 2018, Attorney Franqui served the Government of Puerto Rico in Washington, DC, at the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration (PRFAA) office.
  • Following, he has been practicing immigration law, focusing on affirmative cases before USCIS.
